Patrick Swayze. For several years the Dirty Dancing poster hung prominently in my daughter's room.  We all loved him.  He could sing, dance and act. He was a handsome cut of man. Then along came "Ghost." Tell me you didn't want to go buy a pottery wheel. Patrick shares some insights from his place now on the otherside.

Hi. This is Brian White. Welcome to Season 2  Episode 25 of Celebrity Souls Speak. My wife, Rene’, is a Medium and I’ve been a radio personality for over 50 years. The otherside established communication with us because they wish to stay in touch with this dimension. They know I truly love and respect music and the artists that perform it and Rene’ is a huge music fan as well. We started this podcast and have been interviewing celebrities that have passed over. We’re giving them a platform, they have a lot to say and we’re in contact and passing along their thoughts.

Patrick Wayne Swayze (Buddy) was born on August 18, 1952. His father was an engineer and passed in 1982. His mother Patsy Swayze was a choreographer and owned a dance school in Houston. This is where he would meet his soul mate, Lisa Niemi, a 15-year-old dance class student. Patrick was 19 when they met. They married in 1975 and remained united until Patrick’s death in 2009 from pancreatic cancer.

Patrick was multi-talented. In addition to acting, he was a dancer and a singer. After appearing in many supporting roles in films and television, he landed the role of Johnny Castle, the macho dance instructor in the film “Dirty Dancing.” You can hear his work on the DD soundtrack, “She’s Like The Wind,” which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1987. In 1990 Patrick played Sam Wheat in the blockbuster “Ghost,” the highest-grossing film of the year.

There is a quote in answer to a question about his faith, Patrick said:

“I have a great deal of faith in faith; if you believe something strongly enough, it becomes true for you. I would like to believe that my father is right here with me in this room and that he's my guardian angel, that there's life after death -- because if there isn't, why are we here? I don't believe that just flesh and bones can contain from the point of view of physics, this very real recorded energy inside of us. Whether it's true or not, we need to believe it.”

HI! Buddy. My newest fur-family member is Buddy. I’ve seen him that little dachshund weiner dog. He likes to play. Yes, he does. So you’ve been here? When someone calls us we like to know a little about them. So, what did you learn about me? I can’t tell you, but you know yourself so you should know what I see. I don’t but thank you for caring enough to learn about me.

Patrick and I agree on his top 3 movies: DD, Ghost and Roadhouse. Speaking of “Roadhouse” Sam Elliott is a presence. What is your favorite story about Sam? Oh my, that’s like asking me to pick my favorite horse. I love them all.

You named your spread Rancho Bizarro. You passed there right? That was a great place. I loved it there. Yes, I was fortunate to be able to choose where to transition.

Billy Bob Thornton, a lot of people put him down. You are friends? He is a good guy. People believe others perceptions as

their own. We should all form our opinions over what we think, not what someone else thinks.

What were your challenges when you were here? Dealing with people who were not really looking out for you. I’ve heard you talk to others about this, it’s all true. And that’s what happens to us. I would swear they try to break us down so they can “reprogram” us to obey. It is what it is, but I agree people need to know what they are REALLY getting into. You go into it with the naive notion that these

people are here to help me, they work for me. Nope. You are a slave basically.

Were you done here, did you know what your mission was and did you fulfill it? I did. Well, I only knew that I could tell if something wasn’t right most of the time. And when I got into show business and met my wife, I felt like I was in the right place. It’s a calm, peaceful feeling. There’s always more we can do but I can say that now that I know what my mission was, I did fulfill it.

Are you coming back? I haven’t been back, I have so much going on here. I love it here. I don’t think I want to come back, now that I

know what to expect.

When you are in another life, do you remember your past lives? Just like you, I know there are some things that feel more natural than others, but as far as memories, no, when we leave here to go somewhere else we don’t take all the details with us. Sometimes humans will remember things from their past lives, I don’t know how that happens but some do. That’s hard for them.

I’m sitting here looking at the gold record Brian got for “DD” 99. He is the subject of conversation quite frequently. Really, like what? I can’t really say. It would ruin the surprise.

Tell me about Lisa. Lisa was the love of that life. Sometimes our paths do stay together but sometimes you are finished with that soul. We never know that because they have their own life path. We had a long relationship that lasted over many lifetimes and in many different combinations. We always had a feeling that we were soulmates. I’m curious to see if this will continue, and I’ll know when she gets here.

Patrick, is there anything you would like to talk about? Not specifically, I just think that when we’re in that life we forget completely who we are and buy into the human ego, which basically rules that life. It takes a lot of strength and determination to be successful in that life, success being measured as a happiness quotient I guess. The ego is very strong and prevails most of the time. I see you trying. Keep at it. Every moment that you are able to

stay in soul, not ego, you win a little more. So just keep fighting. You will win if you stay focused on the prize. Message for Lisa? We said all that ever needed to be said. She knows I am waiting for her. She knows I love her.

That’s sweet. I appreciate the time you took with me today. May we speak again? Sure, just whistle. Thank you so much, but you know what I want. Nobody puts Baby in the corner. AAAHHHH.
