Celebrity Souls Speak With Brian And Rene' Interviews With the Otherside

S2 E36 Celebrity Souls Speak President Abraham Lincoln, Includes Transcript

Brian White and Rene' Leister Season 2 Episode 36

This is our 4th of July salute to the American Spirit. Pun intended. At the start of this interview with President Abraham Lincoln,  we were joined by two very special guests, Jimi Hendrix and Francis Scott Key, whose places in history although very different, are very alike as well. Francis Scott Key, who penned "The Star-Spangled Banner" in 1814 and Jimi Hendrix, who made our National Anthem immortal in the souls of those who ever heard him play it, seems like an unlikely pair, but struck up a conversation about each other's talents in writing and playing an instrument.
On to President Lincoln.
In a heated political arena, how often do you hear, "What was the intent of our Forefathers?" Now, you can hear for yourself what Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of this great nation, thinks about where we are and it's not good. We can only hope that Americans wake up and smell the tea.

Brian Hi. This is Brian White. Welcome to Season 2, Episode 36 of Celebrity Souls Speak With Brian and Rene’, Interviews From The Otherside: President Abraham Lincoln. My wife, Rene’, is a spirit communicator, she speaks to those on the otherside, and I’ve been a radio personality for over 50 years. The otherside established communication with us because they wish to stay in touch with this dimension. They are our teachers, the invisible knowledge that helps us on our way. They have much to share and hope that those who listen will reflect on their messages.

R Well, I was going to give my introduction here but we have guests. Francis Scott Key (who wrote “The Star-Spangled Banner”) and Jimi Hendrix are also with us. So right now I have Abraham Lincoln, Francis Scott Key, and Jimi Hendrix with me. Hmmmmm, ok, I’ll do it. My first 3 way.

F HAHA, this is Francis, Jimi and I wanted to be part of the festivities for the 4th.

J Jimi don’t miss no good parties.

F We just wanted to say greetings to President Lincoln and let Americans know that we are with you in your celebration and hope that you get your shit together soon. That last part was Jimi’s. comment.

J Well, we jumped in and it’s time for us to jump out and let you finish your interview.

R Thank you so much for coming. It was amazing being able to bring together souls from completely different generations.

F This is amazing. I haven’t done this in a while. I’m not fodder for the ink anymore.

R Oh, me either, Francis.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN

R Honest “Abe” Lincoln is how most of us know him. The 16th President of the United States and the man who abolished slavery in this country, he was a humble soul from humble beginnings. Born in 1809 in a log cabin in Indiana, Lincoln educated himself and became a lawyer. He moved in and out of politics, in 1854 he re-entered the political world and ran for President in 1860. It was in 1865 that an assassin’s bullet took Mr. Lincoln’s life. Looking for President Abraham Lincoln.

AL Yes, who are you?

R Sir, I am just a humble writer who is also able to speak with your side and I have a program called a podcast that features celebrities and other known folks like yourself. My goal is to allow those passed over the ability to speak to humankind. Many have much left to say and I provide them the place to do it.

AL Ok, what do you want from me?

R Sir, I want to provide you a platform to speak to humankind here at this time.

AL What am I supposed to say?

R Anything you want sir.

AL Are you the person with who Kennedy spoke?

R Well, if it was the other day, I know you have no time concept, if it is fresh, then yes, that was me.

AL He did mention that someone was asking questions and he felt good about the person and their motives. We get many whose motives are not pure.

R Sir, I promise you that my motives and my soul are pure. I am merely trying to help those passed over to continue communication with this time on Earth. I believe there is so much wisdom that could be used to help mankind get through this part of our journey. We need help and who better to advise than the souls who have already been here and were such an impact on our history. I ask that you allow me to speak with you for a few minutes, or as long as you want. This is your platform.

AL What kind of advice do you mean?

R Sir, that is up to you. As with President Kennedy, I realize that you had restraints placed upon you when you were here. They are gone. You're free to say whatever you want to say.

AL Can I say that my beautiful country is a damn mess?

R Yessir you can.

AL I don’t understand why things have gone the way they have with America. We set out a guide called the Constitution, for future generations to follow. This document is no longer the guidebook for America and there is chaos.

R Yessir there is. Can you tell me what the intention was for Americans in composing this document?

AL It sure as Hell wasn’t to ignore what we put in place for the good of the country. We envisioned our America as the land of the free. Free of the oppression of any other body to dictate how we lived. We expected that there would be disagreements and that is the whole point of our parliamentary system. There is never going to be 100% agreement on everything, we all think differently, but it is the responsibility of the governing body to respect the process whereby there is room for debate and negotiation. We never intended any one party to take over the government. We intended for the lawmakers to work things out for the benefit of the whole country not just those of one party. What is happening now is a travesty, one that is going to destroy our democratic rule. There is nothing democratic about one party making all decisions and not allowing the whole of the voting house and senate to participate. And it was certainly not our intention for a president to use executive privilege to pass legislation purely for the purpose of ensuring their will is done. We are hopeful that after this is over, America is able to recover and re-acquaint itself with the tenets set forth in our documents. We realized that there would be changes to the Constitution as America changed and grew but not changes that benefit one party or the other.

R Sir, you have the attention of the governing body, let’s just say, what would you say to them?

AL I would say that greed and power are destroying a system that was designed to run equally fair to all Americans. I would say that I am ashamed of what is happening to this great country and I am not the only one who feels this way. We are all watching, hoping that someone comes along that can put this right. Mr. Trump, although quite the rebel, did have the common good in mind, and in the present regime, we can only see a one-party rule that is oblivious to the term “negotiation.” Things being as they are, we must remember that The Universe has a plan, and sometimes we do not understand why things happen the way they do. It is up to those Americans who believe in the Constitution to continue to try to find a way to help their brothers and sisters in opposition, to let go of the greed and the bullying, and remember we are one country, we are all here for the same reason, freedom, and justice for all. This will not be something that happens quickly, but it starts with one. And I call on legislators to examine their soul and remember you work for the American people, not for your own interests or viewpoints. Fear not, for inside every one of you is a patriot, a love for America, and many die protecting our rights. I point to the Constitution for your guidance. And I point to your soul because that is where the “knowing one” in you reside and that is who should be guiding you.

R Amazing.

AL What else would you like to know?

R SIr, I have many questions and would like to be able to contact you again.

AL I can agree to that.

R Thank you, Mr. President. I am honored.

AL It’s Abe and I am honored that you are trying to do something instead of just talking about it. I am available to you and I am sure that the others would agree to speak with you also.

R Oh my. Again, thank you.
